Everybody needs a friend who will stand by them.

We're all different; but beautiful in our own way.

Some days, we're going to butt heads with each other.

Most of us are a little too nosy for our own good.

 

If we used our ears to listen twice as much as we talked, things would be remarkably different.

 

When we try to be king of the hill, often we end up lonely.

 

Family & friends: It's what we all really desire - to be with the ones we love.

Ever wish you could go back and live a certain time of your life over – so you could make better choices, do things differently? I do.  I think about it often.  When I hear someone say they wouldn’t change a thing, I think to myself “Liar, liar, pants on fire!”  It seems that we all have to walk a long road before we realize everything we ever wanted was right there in front of us.  We just didn’t embrace it.  We didn’t know God really was in control.  We thought we were in charge.  It’s like we had blinders on.

2011 – Pursuing A Simpler Life January 9, 2011

Well, as you can see, it’s been a long time since I posted an update. At the beginning of last year, I felt God pressing upon me to stop most of the activities I was involved in and live life much more simply.  After wrestling with it a few months, I finally started listening.  He kept telling me to “just live what I believe” and what a blessing it has been to have my eyes opened to the blessings He’s been trying to give me!
